Conscientious Carnivore Resources

Vegetarian and (especially) vegan diets are better choices ethically and for the planet, but if you are going to eat meat it's best to make sure that it comes from animals that are humanely treated and with more sustainable raising practices than the current factory farming methods. Here are a few resources for compassionate-sustainable carnivores. I started out with links I found in the book "The Way We Eat: Why Our Food Choices Matter" by Peter Singer and Jim Mason but will add others as I come across them and learn more.
